SMACNA talked with Brian Fluetsch, president, Sunset Air Inc., Lacey, WA, and his son Trenton Fluetsch, who is currently service manager at the company. They spoke on the benefits of being involved with SMACNA and the connections made at the annual convention. Brian was introduced to SMACNA many years ago by his parents and hopes his son benefits as much as he has from his affiliation with SMACNA.
From its founding in 1976, Sunset Air Inc. has grown into a large warehouse and showroom that offers a range of services including heating, electrical, water heaters, windows, solar services, and doors, and where they stress taking responsibility with resources like energy and water. The Sunset Air building was the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold-rated, privately owned and operated building in Washington state.
